Measuring Your Room Before Ordering Custom Furniture

Custom furniture only works when the measurements are right. These are the numbers we ask for before quoting, and taking them yourself takes about ten minutes.

Wall length and ceiling height

Measure the wall at floor level and again at shoulder height — walls in Indian apartments are rarely perfectly straight. For wardrobes, ceiling height decides whether a loft unit is possible.

Door, lift and staircase clearance

A wardrobe that fits your bedroom is useless if it cannot reach the bedroom. Share your lift dimensions and staircase turn, and we plan the piece in sections that can be assembled on site.

Walkway space

Leave at least 75 cm of walking space around a bed and 90 cm behind dining chairs. We check these clearances against your room plan before finalising sizes.
